The concept of the project was to create a settlement consisting of small modular houses and shared community spaces, set in a forested and lakeside environment. The picturesque and beautifully wooded site is located in the Mazury region, in the village of Kalbornia, by Lake Dąbrowa Wielka. Advanced ecological solutions and natural materials, along with a focus on aesthetics and the comfort of the residents, shaped the project’s direction. 54 houses, ranging in size from 80 to 100 sqm, are designed as modular units that can be connected and finished in various ways, allowing the space to be tailored to individual needs while creating a diverse yet cohesive architectural and landscape space.
Materials such as wood (used for facades, window frames, and roofing in natural or charred tones), sheet metal, and plaster were used in the the buildings. The complex is also planned to include a reception area, entertainment facilities (e.g., an outdoor cinema, bar, and fire pits), recreational spaces (sports courts, yoga rooms), and relaxation areas (a beach, pier, and scattered relaxation spots throughout the area).
